Princess Máxima joins the Growing SMEs conference!
Princess Máxima of the Netherlands welcomes 50+ entrepreneurs from 17 countries during the upcoming Growing SMEs Conference Marketplace on 15 November in The Hague.
Winners & finalists of Business Plan Competitions and special featured entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to present their business ideas to the Dutch Princess during the opening ceremony of the Marketplace. Princess Máxima is the UN Secretary-General’s Special Advocate for Inclusive Finance for Development.

Princess Máxima Speaks at ‘Growing SMEs’ Conference

On Thursday, 15 November 2012, Her Royal Highness Princess Máxima of the Netherlands will speak at the 8th edition of the ‘Growing SMEs. Connect. Exchange. Invest.’ Conference in The Hague.
The objectives of the conference are to link small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) from emerging market countries to investors, describe various entrepreneurship development systems, and to stimulate networking. The conference is organized by BiD Network and MVO Nederland.
Princess Máxima will speak in her position as 'Special Advocate for Inclusive Finance for Development' of the Secretary General of the United Nations. In addition to her speech, she will open and visit the ‘Investment Marketplace’ at which entrepreneurs from more than 15 different countries will present their business plans to investors and other participants.
BiD Network is a Dutch non-profit organization that stimulates sustainable SME development in emerging markets. The organization is financed by the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the National Postcode Lottery.
